Ailbhe, This season made with Liberty Fabric in 100% silk , showcasing the Stripe & Bow Print. Inspired by the extravagant bows used to accessorise Regency dresses, Bustle and Bow was hand- painted in soft gouache by the Liberty design studio. These oversized, three-dimensional bow illustrations hint at the rich cloth, intricate frills and furbelows typical of the Regency style.
The softly draped bodice is finished with front tie detailing, allowing the silhouette to be defined at the waist or worn more loosely. Elbow-length sleeves offer ease and coverage, while practical side seam pockets and a subtle side slit complete the design with thoughtful functionality. This mid-calf style balances fluid movement with subtle structure.
