Introducing The New Evening Dress collection with Darla Haute Couture

First unveiled at our recent event with @tastemaker.ie, Helen McAlinden is proud to introduce a new capsule of black tie and evening dresses, designed and made in Dublin in collaboration with Darla Haute Couture.

This limited range features four elegant styles, all crafted in black satin. Each piece embodies a quiet drama, from a fluid slip dress with lace-trimmed neckline and criss-cross back, to a sculptural high-neck gown with open back and striking geometric seaming. Completing the collection is a bodice and full skirt, a pairing that channels true red-carpet glamour when worn together.

Each dress is made to order, allowing for tweaked measurements and personalised fittings at our No.19 Drury Street store. This bespoke approach ensures a flawless fit and a deeply personal experience for every client.

The collection was created in response to a growing demand for eveningwear and black tie dressing, as well as a desire to bring part of our manufacturing back to Ireland (a meaningful step in our ongoing sustainability journey).

Developed in partnership with our long time friend, Ivana Hruza, a Croatian designer known for her bridal pieces, this capsule merges couture-level craftsmanship with timeless Irish design sensibility.

Soon, several of the styles will also be available in ivory and navy, with our much-loved Aurora style joining the range. Each piece is designed to offer elegance without excess. Couture detailing, made locally, and priced with care.
